About the event

Important Registration Note

This is a two-part series, and registration includes both sessions:• December 11th from 6:30–8:00 PM• December 18th from 5:30–6:30 PM

Signing up for this event reserves your spot for both dates.

Week 1: Caregiver Session (December 11 • 6:30–8:00 PM)

Week 1 is a caregiver-only session designed to give you everything you need to feel confident, prepared, and supported before you begin toilet training. Two caregivers can attend with one ticket.

We’ll cover the foundational pieces of toileting: developmental readiness, what’s helpful to have (and what’s absolutely not necessary), and how to choose an approach that fits your child’s temperament and learning history. Whether you’re starting fresh or navigating a previous false start, you're in the right place!

We’ll talk through common pitfalls, ways to increase motivation, and how to support kids who are anxious, resistant, or struggling with follow through. You’ll leave with a clear framework, a materials list, and a take-home planning guide to help you map out the timing, routines, and supports that will set you and your child up for success. There will be plenty of time for questions and real-life problem solving.

Week 2: Sensory Play Stations (December 18 • 5:30–6:30 PM)

Week 2 is designed for caregivers and children to attend together. This session focuses on helping your child become familiar with the skills, sensations, and routines involved in toilet training all through playful, low-pressure exploration. We’ll have several hands-on sensory stations that allow kids to explore the pieces of toileting in a way that feels safe, curious, and fun.

You’ll also have space to observe what grabs your child’s interest, what skills they naturally lean toward, and where they might need a little extra support. During this time, caregivers will also have the opportunity to review your plan, ask questions and talk through next steps.

The sensory play stations are generally designed with toddlers in mind (approximately 18 months to 3 years). If your child falls outside this range, they are still welcome if you think they will enjoy being there! If you think it is not a good fit for them, please reach out! I’m happy to offer a 15-minute follow-up phone call in place of the second session to help you plan your next step.
